2013 in Review

2013 was a big year for Team Fullbright! Starting off with the anticipation of the Grammy Awards and a big trip for John and Buffalo to the UK, touring, touring, touring, playing, playing, playing, with some time off for fun and van repairs, until it was mid-summer and John came home for WoodyFest. In the fall there was Americana Fest, studio time, and playing for the home crowd. Other high points included the release of the music video for “Gawd Above,” recording and touring with Amy Speace, being on Later… With Jools Holland, Bonnaroo, the Lone Star Music Awards, the Black Crowes… and John turned 25.

The Wall Street Journal ranked John as one of the Ten Best Concerts of 2013, with Jim Fusilli calling his show “ferocious…with his voice and guitar biting just right in a powerful presentation of rock and country that redefines his vast potential.”

Here’s to another great year in 2014.
